Ratania+ is a food supplement, particularly based on ratania, a rich in tannins plant with astringent,
anti-inflammatory, haemostatic and antidiarrheal properties.
This product also cointains green chiretta, that can help reduce inflammation of the
gastrointestinal tract, while having antimicrobial, antipyretic and hepatoprotective activities.
Moreover, the guar gum has the property of modulating the concentration of liquids,
contributing to the antidiarrheal effect.
Finally, Saccharomyces boulardii can modulate the local and systemic immune response, stabilize the
function of the “gastrointestinal barrier” and regulate the intestinal microbial balance, interfering
with the ability of pathogens to colonize and infect the mucosa.
Ratania+, thanks to its formulation, counteracts various intestinal disorders, that initially manifest
themselves with an excessive transit, a loss of liquids and an inflammation (e.g. malabsorption in
the elderly, loss of mucus, colitis, diarrhea in allergic people and athletes).
